As a professional business mentor, advisor, and coach since 2006, I have helped a wide range of private business owners address their frustrations, improve profitability, and lower their stress. I have specialised in working with the owners of construction-related businesses since 2012, helping build systems and profitability into their operations.
With a B. Comm degree from Auckland University in Financial Accounting and Marketing Management, I find my skill set complements very well with my clients. The combination of my business training, big business experience and specialist industry knowledge is uniquely successful.
Before becoming a business coach, I have a background in family business ownership and spent 25 years managing big businesses. These first-hand experiences have helped me develop knowledge and capabilities around business systems and processes alongside a practical, hands-on application to help smaller business owners.

The core work I do with the owners of trades-related companies is on a 1-to-1 basis with them. Through a tried-and-true diagnostic process we decide on what areas of the business they need help with and then I design a customised program of coaching and advice to address their needs.
This has worked well for a lot of owners over the years and has allowed them to bridge the gap in their knowledge and systems very effectively. Although I keep my coaching charges lower than many others in the industry as part of my Mission, the costs of 1-to-1 coaching is still a stretch for a new business owner.
